Question: Why I can't hear any sound while recording files?
Answer: First, you need to check where you put your audio LINE IN.  Then, choose the correct AUDIO IN type in WinDVR according to the type of sound card.  

Question: Why is there always noise when I play back the recorded file?
Answer: This issue can be corrected by updating the sound card driver.

Question: Why is there suddenly no video even though it  worked fine before?
Answer: Most likely, the reason is that you installed other multimedia software such as Herosoft (very likely culprit). Please reinstall the operation system, then install the TV Tuner Card again.

Question: Why doesn't the remote control program work?
Answer: Check the size of wincinema.exe. If that is not in the range of 100kB to 120kB, it is the result of installing another similar software program. Please uninstall the WinDVR software and reinstall.

Question: Why can't I find out channel by this TV-card?
Answer: Please check in the Sound, Video and Game Joystick section of the Device Manager (in the Control Panel) to see whether there are the two items: Proteus(7130) WDM Video Capture and WDM TV tuner.  The second driver may not yet be installed.  If it is installed correctly, please change to another computer to check whether there is problem with the card itself. If not, it most likely is a  problem with the software installation.

Question: Does the installation require driver?
Answer: No, there is no driver required to install the TV Box. Please refer to the Installation Procedure as listed under the section “Support”.

Question: How do I correctly install the TV Box with Computer & LCD/Monitor?
Answer:  Please refer to the Installation Procedure as listed under the section “Support”. Please connect the “Y” cable correctly among TV Box, Computer and LCD/Monitor

Question: I see no picture and no sound after the installation?
Answer: Please check to ensure the AC/DC power of TV Box is plugged in AC outlet, or, press the “On/Off" Switch, which is on top of the TV Box, to switch between TV and PC.

Question: The remote control is not sensitive or disabled? 
Answer: Please check the batteries (2) are firmly installed or replace with new batteries (require 2 AAA batteries).

Question: TV signals received are flurry, oblique with lines…..?
Answer: 1. Bad connection of antenna or cable. 2. Weak signals from TV stations in your area. 3. Add an amplifier for enhancement.

Question: Normal sound without picture? 
Answer: Check to ensure LCD/Monitor is powered ON. Check for bad connection between LCD/Monitor and TV Box.

Question: Do I need to power on Computer in order to watch TV on LCD/Monitor with TV Box?
Answer:
No.
